Remembering Barbara Dyke

Barbara has been a valued and much-loved member of the church family at Upton Baptist Church (previously known as Grosvenor Park Baptist Church) since she moved to Chester over 50 years ago. Throughout those years, she faithfully contributed to, prayed for, and supported the work of the church, setting an example of quiet commitment and service.

Barbara valued all aspects of church life, always encouraging others and keeping her heart and mind focused on what truly matters, reflecting the church’s motto verse, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2).

“As a family, we feel it would be a fitting and lasting legacy for future generations if donations given in Barbara’s name were used to support the work with children within the church family, the local community, and the children’s charities supported by the church –causes that reflect her faith, her hope, and her love for others.”

If you’d like to make a gift in Barbara’s memory, you can do so by making a donation to Upton Baptist Church, clearly marked with ‘Barbara Dyke’ , or using Paypal, by clicking below.
